Göttingen Nobel Laureate Manfred Eigen has died.
He was one of the most versatile German researchers and a popular representative of science. Manfred Eigen, Nobel Laureate in Chemistry and founder of the Max Planck Institute (MPI) for Biophysical Chemistry in Göttingen, died on February 6, 2019, at the age of 91.
